Publications by Rumor Perkins Rumor Perkins is the pen name for a mother and three daughters: Betty Perkins, Roxann Grissom, Kelly Palmer, and Shaun Perkins. Betty is a retired high school English/journalism teacher, photographer, and travel-writer wannabe. Her work has been published in professional journals and newspapers. Roxann, a high school English teacher, has a classroom adorned with Mel Gibson posters and monster women figurines. Her work has been published in newspapers and a college textbook. Kelly, a programmer/analyst for a Tulsa-based company, is a self-professed beach rat who loves sinking her toes in sand. Her work has been published in several technical magazines and newspapers. Shaun is a high school English teacher, poet, storyteller, gardener, and porch-sitter. Her work has been published in various literary journals and newspapers. |
